Launched with Valorant
One of the four maps available at global launch. Open mid and two mechanical site doors.
A five-year fixture in the pool
Stayed in competitive rotation for over five years — the game's fundamentals benchmark — with only minor spawn and sightline tuning.
Rotated out for the first time
Removed in patch 11.08, ending a record uninterrupted run in the competitive pool.
Returned in V26 Act 3
Re-added to the competitive pool as Bind rotated out.
The reliable pick for each role slot on Ascent. Start here if you're unsure who to lock.
Win mid every round with Sova/KAY/O info and convert pressure into a fast hit on either exposed site.
Clear mid with Recon Bolt and a KAY/O knife, then default and swing A Main or B Main off the read.
Killjoy anchors B with full setup, Sova darts mid, Omen one-ways A Main while Jett holds for picks.
Use Viper's mid wall as a recurring map split so executes hit a 4-stacked side with no rotates.
Wall mid, Breach + Sova clear the site, Jett dashes in first and Killjoy secures the post-plant.
Viper mid line stalls every push; Killjoy + Breach retake B while Sova arrows track flanks.
Stack flashes and Raze nades to overwhelm a single site before defenders can rotate.
Skye + KAY/O flash A Main in pairs, Raze clears corners with Boom Bot, Omen smokes the cross.
Killjoy locks B, Skye flashes back picks, KAY/O knife suppresses the on-site sentinel utility.
