How to play Waylay

Waylay is a fast-tempo entry duelist built around resets: dash in for the opening pick, then Refract back to safety before the trade lands. Like Jett, she carries no team utility, so every death is expensive — play for picks and use her mobility to disengage, not to overstay.

01Drop Refract's beacon somewhere safe BEFORE you take a fight — it's your escape, so place it first and reactivate the instant the duel turns.
02Refract resets a charge every two kills, so a winning entry snowballs — keep taking space while it's up.
03Lightspeed's first dash is the only one that gains height — save it for off-angles and unexpected elevation, not just flat repositioning.
04Throw Saturate onto a choke or a planted Spike to hinder pushers, then swing the slowed group.
05Convergent Paths is a team-fight opener: pop it into a stacked site so the hinder lands, then enter behind the speed boost.
